Piet Zwart editorial project and animation-Typography Pioneer

The project consists in a way to present the work of piet zwart in a way that seize the soul of the designer as well as the historical Zeitgeist he was operating in. The editorial product consists in a small section book which features a selection of Piet Zwart’s work, showcasing his evolving versatility as a typographer, graphic designer, architect, and photographer. It offers a synthesis of his professional contributions, presented in a chronological journey that traces the evolution of his approach through his major commissions, culminating in his use of photography—a format that distinguishes and highlights his works as formal expressions rather than commercial products. The section serves as a lens through which to view his work: organized by client to highlight the differences stemming from corporate requests and the designer’s professional growth, and interspersed with photographic experiments that are not tied to any specific commission.
